Sri Guru Singh Sabha Mumbai, supreme body of Sikh Community created a Trust “Guru Nanak Quin Centenary Memorial Hospital Trust” in 1971 to run and manage a multi-specialty hospital in memory of Sri Guru Nanak Devji on his 500thBirth Anniversary. Pious and Philanthropic Sikh Brothers donated generously in making of the multi-specialty hospital. The hospital commenced its operation in 1993.
The year 2018-19 is the 550th Birth Anniversary year of Guru Nanak Devji. During the year the Trust embarked a programme of developing an advanced Cardiac and Neuro Centre to provide medical facilities to poor and lower income group people of the society who are unfortunately at receiving end.
The Trust has taken up the project of expanding existing hospital to 450 bedded hospital and building new Medical College and BSC Nursing College. To reach the masses and the places where medical facilities are woefully inadequate both in terms of quantity and quality, the Trust holds regular medical camps and strength the network of free dispensaries which are presently at Bandra and Dadar.
On the path shown by our Guru Nanak Devji, the Trust and the Trustees are providing medical services to poor and needy patients and simultaneously expanding the horizon to serve more and more patients in future.
